THE TONGXING COLLECTION

VRF / VRV systems

Flexible multi-zone comfort.

Explore VRF outdoor and indoor units for projects with multiple air-conditioned spaces. Tongxing supplies VRF equipment and supports project selection for hotels, offices and other buildings with different zone requirements.

Choose equipment around the building

Share the room layout, use of each zone, operating schedule and design cooling or heating load. Select the indoor-unit format around the available ceiling space, air distribution and access for maintenance. The outdoor and indoor units must be checked together as a compatible system.

Check the installation conditions

Provide the proposed outdoor-unit position, piping route and height differences, available electrical supply and design outdoor temperatures. Ask for model-specific limits and a piping selection before ordering. System capacities and permitted indoor-unit combinations vary by the chosen series.

Coordinate the full project scope

Identify any separate ventilation requirements, central controls or building-management-system interfaces. State whether you need equipment supply, system selection, remote installation guidance or a wider support scope so these can be addressed in the proposal.

Information for a project quotation

Send the project country, building type, drawings if available, indoor-unit quantities and target schedule. Our team can then discuss the appropriate equipment range and the technical documents needed for your market.

EQUIPMENT BUYER’S BRIEF

Commercial VRF equipment supply for building projects

For apartment buildings, hotels and other multi-zone projects, prepare the indoor and outdoor equipment schedule together. A commercial VRF quotation should reflect the room requirements, system grouping and controls scope, not only the total nominal capacity.

What is a VRF air conditioning system?

VRF stands for variable refrigerant flow. It is used for multi-zone air conditioning with coordinated outdoor and indoor equipment. Selection starts with room loads and system grouping, then checks permitted combinations, pipe routes and controls against the specific series.

VRF vs VRV: which term should a project brief use?

VRF is the generic technology term; VRV is Daikin’s trademark for variable refrigerant volume. The terms do not make equipment from different brands interchangeable. Tongxing quotations identify the actual supplied models and compatible components; no Daikin affiliation is implied.

What determines a commercial VRF system cost?

Provide indoor-unit types and quantities, outdoor-unit grouping, controls and the proposed pipe routes. Request equipment supply separately from local piping, electrical work, commissioning and service. For an apartment or hotel, ask for a schedule by floor or system so omissions can be identified before ordering.

What is needed for an apartment VRF quotation?

Provide the room-by-room loads, indoor unit preferences, outdoor unit locations and electrical supply. Identify apartment grouping, controller locations and any metering requirements. Send the latest layouts and mark rooms or equipment quantities that are still provisional.

How should a hotel VRF equipment package be specified?

Separate guestrooms, common areas and other spaces in the schedule. State the intended control arrangements, occupancy interfaces and operating patterns. Ventilation and any simultaneous heating and cooling requirement should be reviewed separately with the designer; do not assume every offered series provides the same functions.

Can I replace only part of an existing VRF system?

Send the exact existing outdoor and indoor model numbers, refrigerant information, controls and piping records. Partial replacement requires model-specific compatibility review. A similar capacity or common system name does not establish that indoor units, controls or pipework can be reused.
