Direct-expansion requirements
If your design calls for a DX computer-room air conditioner (CRAC), provide the required indoor duty, outdoor heat-rejection arrangement, ambient conditions and refrigerant pipe route. Identify restrictions on outdoor unit placement and service access.
Chilled-water requirements
If your design calls for a chilled-water computer-room air handler (CRAH), provide the water supply and return temperatures, available flow and pressure, valve requirements and plant operating schedule. Tell us whether the chiller plant is existing or part of the purchase.
The applicable series, configuration and availability are confirmed during the project review. Model-specific performance, interfaces and required compliance documents must be checked before ordering.

Required sensible cooling in kW, design room temperature and humidity, current IT load and planned expansion. Separate running duty from standby capacity.
Room and airflow
Room plan, rack layout, containment, air supply and return paths, access dimensions and any raised floor. Identify the arrangement your engineer requires.
Site connections
Voltage, phase and frequency; outdoor design conditions; condenser location or chilled-water temperatures and available flow. Include piping routes and distance where known.
Controls and resilience
Duty/standby sequence, alarm points, remote monitoring and BMS protocol requirements. State which functions must be demonstrated during commissioning.
Purchasing scope
Equipment quantities, installation country, delivery location, target date and equipment budget if available. Identify your local installation and service team.

Project specifications, tender schedule and market-specific documentation requirements. Ask for documents covering the exact proposed model and configuration.

Server room air conditioner replacement
Share the existing equipment nameplate, actual IT load, room layout and supply/return air arrangement. Explain what is changing: equipment age, load growth, room layout or operating requirements. Ask your local engineer to confirm the replacement duty and plan service continuity during the changeover.
CRAC or CRAH equipment quotation
State whether you are requesting direct-expansion room equipment or a chilled-water air handler. For a CRAC enquiry include outdoor heat rejection and pipe routes; for a CRAH enquiry include water conditions and plant availability. List controls, valves and monitoring interfaces as required, included or separately supplied.
Data centre cooling expansion
Separate additional IT load from standby equipment in the schedule. Describe the existing controls, airflow paths and the intended commissioning sequence. Ask for the proposed configuration and model-specific documents; the equipment quote alone does not establish the facility’s resilience or design certification.
